Ima week old now......

Wow. I cant believe it. Today our baby girl turned a whole week old. I noticed today that no matter how hard I try to get her to lay on her back to sleep (after all thats what the pediatrician said to do) Miss Ivy doesn't care to sleep that way. It doesnt matter if she is swaddled or not she still rolls over on her side and then zonks out fast. She is sleeping a little longer each time durring the night (that makes mommy a very very happy camper :) )

Miss Ivy also makes some very cute and very funny faces but each time I try to grab a quick picture she moves and makes it blurry..... BUT I managed to grab one of each today....

I call this one the "Hey momma, we gotta talk" face...

And of course the sleepy dreams face....

Gamma (my mother) also makes all these super cute things from baby stuff to quilts and everything in between.... She is very crafty. (Check her out at www.etsy.com/shop/sewystuffbypaula)


That being said..... she has made matching dresses for Ivy and my niece Sadie.

I am still amazed that we have this precious little girl. This first week has been a learning experience as I'm sure the case will always be but I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
